What I LOVE about Southern Weddings

Taking photos in the South (and I’m mostly speaking about my experience in Texas) provides an environment of beautiful nature and country side.  It allows for trees, horses, and fields of flowers as backgrounds.  Texas has wide open spaces, and October is the perfect month to capture all that, because we still have leaves on trees but without all the sweating that comes in summer.

I do not think the cows are romantic enough to be included in a wedding shoot, but I could not resist taking pictures of them because they were so interested in what I was up to.

Hopefully, you will soon be able to see the country side contrasting with a fabulous and beautiful bride and groom as the subject of the shot.  Until then, I will shoot what I can and prepare so when it does happen, I’ll be ready.
