GLAMOURIZE!

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I attended a class on glamour retouching, and I finally got around to testing out some of the free stuff I got from CRW Media after taking the class.  I was given free “fake eyelashes” for photoshop.  Sounds crazy right?  I thought that sounded super weird and fun, but I just now got the time to test them out.   

Photoshop is so incredible.  I have learned a ton about it, and I don’t even think I’ve scratched the surface.  Luckily, what I want to do to photos is pretty basic.  Today, I tested adding make-up and “glamourizing a photo.”  I quickly chose the photo of Mari and Emi, the Harvard sisters attending college together, enjoying this special time before Mari graduates.  Here is the before and after shots after adding a little eyelashes, blush, lipstick, suntan, and hair extensions.  I could probably use a little more work on the hair extensions, but still fun to play with!

Maybe, I should of made y’all play that game- Guess what’s different? HAHA!  While there is so much to learn about the camera, a modern day photographer has to know about photoshop too.  It’s kinda like modern day “dark room development.”  I just want to make sure I don’t spend more time in photoshop than I do taking pictures.
