“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Mark Twain, author

I have recently decided to sail away from the safety of the boat dock and head towards happiness.  At this point in my life, I do not want to grow old, look back and wonder what would have happened if I would have tried to start that Photography Business, so I have decided to take a chance, go for my dreams, and hope for the best.

I will be sharing with you all the road of an aspiring Wedding Photographer, trying to create a successful business.  Along the way, I’m hoping to include the trials and tribulations and some amazing photographs!

While I am not quite sailing away into the sunset happily ever after, I am off in a search of new experiences and new love.

Before I begin my day to day posts, I will provide a little background about myself.  I have graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Harvard University.  Not many of us Harvard Econ Grads decide to pursue Wedding Photography but to each her own.  I took one photography class at Harvard, where I completed my final project on girls getting ready in restrooms-quite fun and weird. Now, I am taking several photography classes at Rice University and constantly working to perfect my photography and my photoshop skills.

I am specifically interested in Wedding Photography, because I am obsessed with love.  I want to capture the love shown from people on digital film in a way where they can keep it for the rest of their lives.  I want to catch a piece of time, a memory, so it can last forever.
