Texas Bridal Boot camps to get Wedding Dress Ready!
So, I love telling others when I find something or someone that I like, and I recently found that in a new work-out class.
A few months ago, one of my Brides told me about a workout class she was a part of, and it turns out it was only 10 minutes from my house. Â I read about it on their website, and I read how the class is all about women inspiring each other to become healthier in a really positive environment. Â For those who know me, this is so me. Â I love women feeling strong and empowered and encouraging each other. Â It turns out lots of women feel the same way, because this organization is spreading like crazy across Texas.
I tried out the class, and it was tough, especially at first, but everyone is super nice and encouraging. Â There are women of all ages and fitness levels and everyone is very supportive.
The class is more expensive than my gym membership, but it is so much cheaper than a personal trainer. Â It is $8.25 a workout or $99 a month when you sign-up for 6 months. Â The class is three days a week, and it pushes you harder than you can ever push yourself.
I was thinking today that there are definitely some Brides that WANT something like this. Â This is great for Brides, Mothers-of the Bride, Bridesmaids, New Moms. Â Our group even sometimes offers discounts for Mother-Daughters joining together.
The organization is called Texas Fit Chicks.  I am in the Clear Lake Group with Trainer Heather.  You can find your nearest group at http://www.texasfitchicks.com/index.asp !
I am not getting paid or anything for this, I just thought some Brides might be looking for something like this and have never heard of it. Â You can use my ID when you sign-up and I get some benfefit (5104), but that’s not why I’m sharing.
Above and below are a few of the girls in the class after I photographed a party we had to celebrate the summer weight loss.
The group is a good chance to become healthier, get stronger, make new friends, network, and get away from your husband/kids/parents (just kidding). 🙂 Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions about the group- firstname.lastname@example.org
