Julia & Mason’s Elegant February Wedding at La Maison Blanc

Julia and Mason’s February wedding at La Maison Blanc was nothing short of timeless. From the classic black-tie attire to the stunning black-and-white backdrop of the venue, every detail came together so effortlessly. I always love a black-tie wedding, and this one truly showcased how elegant and refined that style can be, especially in such a beautifully coordinated space.

Julia looked absolutely breathtaking. From the moment she stepped into her dress, there was such a quiet confidence and grace about her. And Mason’s reaction when he saw her for the first time? Completely unforgettable. He was truly floored—it’s one of those moments that reminds me why I love what I do.

I arrived early in the day to photograph all of the meaningful bridal details. From their rings to the custom Kippah worn during the ceremony, every element reflected intentionality and tradition. These quiet, detail-filled moments always help tell the full story of a wedding day.

Julia and Mason chose to do a first look before their ketubah signing, which allowed them to spend more time together and enjoy their cocktail hour later in the evening. We also used this time to capture all of their couple’s portraits and family photos, making the rest of the day feel relaxed and seamless.

The Ketubah signing took place in the bridal house, a space that comfortably held their closest friends and family. It was such a special, intimate moment. Julia’s adorable nephew added so much personality to this part of the day—kids always bring an element of spontaneity, and he definitely kept everyone smiling.

Following the Ketubah signing, guests made their way to the vineyard for the ceremony. The Chuppah was beautifully adorned with florals, creating a romantic focal point against the natural landscape. It was a meaningful and emotional ceremony, set in one of the most picturesque spots at La Maison Blanc.

As the sun began to set, guests enjoyed a perfect outdoor cocktail hour. With delicious bites like lamb lollipops and a carving station, and the most beautiful February weather, it was the ideal time to relax and celebrate.

The reception design brought a fresh garden party feel indoors, featuring green linens, elegant details, and a lively atmosphere. One of the highlights of the evening was the live band, which truly elevated the celebration. From the grand entrance to the first dance, and the heartfelt parent dances, every moment felt vibrant and full of energy.

After dinner, the dance floor kicked off with one of the most beloved Jewish wedding traditions—the Hora. It’s always such an incredible moment to photograph, filled with joy, laughter, and so much excitement. The celebration continued late into the night, especially after Julia changed into her second outfit, keeping the dance floor full and lively.

Julia and Mason are truly such kind, genuine people, and it was an absolute honor to be part of their wedding day. Celebrations like theirs are the reason I feel so lucky to do what I do.
